Mr. Karren's practice focuses on the trial of product liability and toxic tort cases.  He has tried a significant number of multi-million dollar damages cases in Texas and other states across America.  He has been involved in asbestos litigation for over 15 years and has obtained multiple defense verdicts on behalf of manufacturers of asbestos-containing products.  As a member of national trial teams, he is called upon to defend clients in litigation matters all over the country.  He has also handled thousands of cases filed in Texas and has managed mass tort dockets for over a decade.  Mr. Karren has coordinated the preparation and presentation of defense experts in such disciplines as medicine, toxicology, industrial hygiene, the history of medical and occupational safety, and related fields, and he regularly prepares such experts for deposition and trial testimony.
